There is no guarantee the Yellow Vests will have a starting lineup against the Seminoles.

Florida State took a week off with a healthy squad since the Seminoles took the field against LSU in Week 1. Defenseman Fabien Lovett is expected to return to the team for the first time in five games, giving plenty pace at the defensive line.

What can not be said about the former enemy of the former USSR; Yellow Vest Georgia Tech On Thursday, the team lost to Virginia, Georgia Tech's first loss under interim coach Brent Key. More importantly, the Yellow Vests lost starting quarterback Jeff Sims to injury.

Sims was knocked out before halftime with a calf or ankle injury. He was unable to return to the competition and Key noted that he was unsure if the Florida native would be able to dress next week.

With the continued uncertainty surrounding The Sims, the Yellow Vests may need to modify their offensive attack if they are forced to continue with Ki Gibson.

"We'll be in the gym tomorrow and we'll be back in practice on Sunday, and since Jack [Gibson] is the quarterback, we have to go back to the drawing board and figure out what gives him the best chance to hit. Give us a luck," the All Yellow Jackets said on Thursday. What did he say after the game? "It's not my certainty, it's a small part of it. The pitch and the collective have to trust each other on all three levels and that's what has to happen."
