Aside from the Honor 200 Pro, the Chinese manufacturer has also launched the standard Honor 200 in Malaysia. Despite losing out on the ‘Pro’ moniker, the regular Honor 200 still has quite a lot to like about it, as not only is it cheaper but it also retains a similar design, a similar display and three 50MP cameras too.

Honor 200 Malaysia pricing and availability

The standard Honor 200 is will be available in two configurations:

  • Honor 200, 12GB RAM, 256GB storage – RM1,899
  • Honor 200, 12GB RAM, 512GB storage – RM2,199

You can already pre-order the Honor 200 from the Honor Malaysia website, Honor Experience Stores, authorised retailers as well as their official stores on Shopee and Lazada. All pre-orders from now till 27 June, 3pm will come with free gifts worth up to RM1,078, which include a RM200 rebate, a pair of Honor Earbuds X6 and a 365-day front and back glass crack replacement.

Honor 200 specs

The first difference between the regular Honor 200 and the 200 Pro is that the former is actually very slightly smaller than the latter, packing a quad curved 6.7-inch OLED display pushing a 2664 x 1200p resolution for a similar 436PPI pixel density. The panel is also capable of a peak HDR brightness of 4000nits, a 120Hz refresh rate, full coverage of the DCI-P3 colour gamut as well as full screen always-on-display.

Under the hood though is perhaps the biggest difference, with the Honor 200 powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 system-on-chip. That gets mated to 12GB of memory and up to 512GB of storage, with Android 14 out of the box skinned with MagicOS 8.0 over it.

As for its cameras, the Honor 200 actually does have a similar three 50MP cameras on paper, but there is a minor difference. The main 50MP, f/1.95 shooter on the Honor 200 uses the 1/1.56″ Sony IMX906 sensor, not the larger H9000 sensor on the Honor 200 Pro. That gets flanked by a 50MP, f/2.4 telephoto using the Sony IMX856 sensor that offers a 2.5x optical zoom with a 50x digital zoom and a 12MP, f/2.2 ultrawide. The third 50MP, f/2.1 shooter meanwhile is the selfie shooter upfront.

Other features of note include a 5,200mAh battery that’s capable of 100W Honor SuperCharge fast charging, with Honor claiming that it’s able to juice back up to 49% in just 15 minutes; it doesn’t however have wireless charging, something that’s present on the Honor 200 Pro. The Honor 200 also has an in-display fingerprint sensor, dual stereo speakers, and supports NFC, 5G, WiFi 6 and Bluetooth 5.3 wireless connectivity. You’ll be able to get the Honor 200 in three colours: Moonlight White, Coral Pink and Black.
