Apple has introduced a new colour for the HomePod mini called ‘Midnight” which replaces the previous “Space Grey” colour option. If we compare the product photos side by side, there’s hardly any difference between the two as they look essentially the same.

HomePod Mini Malaysia Pricing

The HomePod Mini is officially priced at RM529 in Malaysia and it will be available globally starting 17th July 2024. If you’re residing in the Klang Valley, you can opt for a Store Pickup at Apple The Exchange TRX on 18th July 2024. Alternatively, you can order online today and it will ship on the same day as well.

HomePod Mini Features

The new “Midnight” option for the HomePod mini is essentially the same darker colour option offered for the bigger HomePod. In total, the HomePod mini is available in 5 colours which include Blue, Yellow, White and Orange.

The HomePod mini offers a full-range sound driver with dual force-cancelling passive radiators. The compact speaker is powered by an Apple S5 chip and it features an illuminated touch panel at the top to manage your music playback. You can pair it with another HomePod mini for stereo audio playback and it also supports multi-room audio. You can also pair it with an Apple TV 4K for a home theatre experience.

Besides being a smart speaker with Siri support, the HomePod mini functions as a home hub for Apple HomeKit. It comes with a built-in temperature and humidity sensor which allows you to check temperature or perform automated tasks when the room reaches a set temperature.
