Honor to roll out Circle to Search to its Magic V3 and Honor 200 Series smartphones

Honor has just announced that the Honor Magic V3, Honor 200, and Honor 200 Pro will be receiving the Google Gemini AI-powered Circle to Search feature. Launched earlier this year by Google, the feature was initially exclusively available for Samsung Galaxy as well as Google Pixel smartphones only.

The Xiaomi 14T series and the Xiaomi Mix Flip which made their global launch late last month were the first non Samsung and Google smartphones to receive the feature. Now it seems like Honor is next in line to push the feature out to some of its smartphones.

What is Circle to Search?

A demonstration of the Circle to Search feature

Just in case this is your first time hearing this feature, Circle to Search is a feature developed by Google that essentially allows you to circle any part of the smartphone’s screen to find out information on the subject.

For instance, you see a shoe in a video that you’re interested in but don’t know what it is. You can simply press and hold the home key or home bar, which will activate Circle to Search. You can then proceed to circle the shoe and Circle to Search will deliver information to you regarding the shoe.

This can even work through your camera viewfinder where you can point at an object you want to know more about through your phone’s camera app and circle it to find out more.
