Porsche Macan Electric is now officially in Malaysia after being first made available for pre-order in July. The new electric SUV is the brand’s second fully-electric model after Taycan.

As if that’s not enough, you can also opt for one of the 59 special colours if those default options are not up to your…well, standards. In terms of the interior, there are 8 colour variations alongside 7 interior packages and 4 accent packages.
In terms of warranty, the would-be Macan Electric owners in Malaysia are provided a 2-year warranty and maintenance package with the option to get an extended warranty for up to 15 years. The high-voltage battery on Macan Electric also has its own 8-year / 160,000km warranty.
Porsche Macan Electric Malaysia quick specs
All four variants of the Porsche Macan Electric in Malaysia are powered by the same 100kWh nickel manganese cobalt (NMC) battery pack. So, how does Porsche differentiate the four Macan Electric variants?

All of them also come standard with an 11kW AC onboard charger. While some may feel slightly irked that an EV at this price range does not come with a 22kW AC charging capability, Macan Electric’s DC charging capability is something else though.
As the EV has an 800V architecture, all Macan Electric support DC charging speeds of up to 270kW which allows its battery to be recharged from 10% to 80% as quickly as 21 minutes. This EV also has two charging ports including one that is dedicated to AC charging but for those who are wondering, you can only use one port at a time.
