If slimness is something you’re looking for, the Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge is now expected to be launched in the coming weeks. After months of teasing, the launch date seems to be set for 13th May 2025 as shared by renowned leakster Evan Blass.
The Galaxy S25 Edge is the “fourth” model of the Galaxy S25 family and it is the slimmest and lightest member of the flagship series.
Yesterday, Evan posted a teaser image which supposedly revealed the launch date of the Galaxy S25 Edge in Italian. However, moments later, it was removed following several DCMA takedown notices. This removal seems to confirm the legitimacy of the image which pins 13th May 2025 as the official launch date.
He also shared what seems to be excerpts from the smartphone’s marketing materials which reveals further key details. This includes the Galaxy S25 Edge’s ultra-light weight of 163g and it is ultra-slim at just 5.8mm. For better durability, the Galaxy S25 Edge will feature titanium bezel and Corning’s Gorilla Glass Ceramic 2.

As we’ve seen from the displayed devices at Mobile World Congress 2025, the Galaxy S25 Edge will feature a dual-camera setup which includes a “Pro-grade” 200MP camera. Meanwhile, the secondary camera is said to be a 12MP ultra-wide-angle shooter.
As you would expect from a 2025 Samsung flagship, the device will be running on a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite and it will run on One UI 7.
While the device still feature a sizeable 6.7″ 120Hz 3120×1440 pixels resolution display, it will only get a modest 3,900mAh capacity battery. The device will still get IP68-rated dust and water resistance and it will support WiFi 7 and Bluetooth 5.4.
So far there’s no details on its global availability and if it will be sold in Malaysia. Considering Malaysia is a key market for Samsung, we reckon pre-orders for the Galaxy S25 Edge should be starting soon with early bird offers from Samsung Malaysia.
