Proton e.MAS 7 is finally ready to make its mark in Singapore. The electric SUV is going to make its official debut this weekend at The Car Expo 2025.
Proton e.MAS’s partner in Singapore, Kinetic Auto, has revealed that the first 99 units will be known as Proton e.MAS 7 Founders Edition. It is unknown at the moment how different this version is from the e.MAS 7 in Malaysia, but we do know that the Founders Edition will be accompanied by a number of interesting benefits.
Proton e.MAS 7 Founders Edition perks
For starters, there is a limited edition gift set which is inclusive of a plaque and key fob. In a way, the gift set sounds similar in nature to e.MAS 7 Pioneer Gift Pack that was provided to early adopters of e.MAS 7 in Malaysia.
Aside from that, the e.MAS 7 Founders Edition owners will also receive 10 years of free service. The warranty for the EV’s high-voltage battery will also be upgraded to 10 years.

On top of that, customers are also able to obtain rebates of up to SGD20,000 (~RM65,814). At the time of this story is published, details regarding the roll out of e.MAS 7 in Singapore including the variants, specs, and pricing have not yet been revealed.
The official website of Proton e.MAS 7 for Singapore did say that the EV will be made available in Lithium White, Turquoise Green, Slate Grey, Platinum Silver, and Quartz Rose which are the same colourways available in Malaysia. The units for Singapore also features a Black interior but from the images shown on the website, it looked no different from the Malaysian unit’s Indigo Blue.
Proton e.MAS 7 international markets

Singapore is the second international market for Proton e.MAS 7. Prior to this, the EV was launched in Nepal back in March, while Proton is also working to bring the e.MAS 7 to Trinidad & Tobago.
Over in Malaysia, the e.MAS 7 has been at the top of the EV sales chart for the past four months. Proton recently said that it has sold over 800 units last month.

On a related note, Proton is currently gearing up to launch another model under the e.MAS banner. The rumour mill has listed several possibilities, including a compact hatchback called Proton e.MAS 5, which is rumoured to be based on the Geely Xingyuan.
