iQoo Neo 10 launching in Malaysia with Snapdragon 8s Gen 4

Vivo’s sub-brand, iQoo, has announced that it will be launching the iQoo Neo 10 smartphone here in Malaysia soon, packing “flagship-grade” hardware, powerful performance, and a price that “defies expectations”. Though no specific launch date has been confirmed for Malaysia just yet.

iQoo Neo 10 to sport Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 “budget-flagship” chipset

Like its launch date, the iQoo Neo 10’s full specs are still a mystery here in Malaysia, except for the fact that it will be sporting Qualcomm’s latest “budget-flagship” smartphone chipset, the Snapdragon 8s Gen 4. iQoo says the Neo 10 will be the country’s first-ever gaming smartphone to pack the said chipset.

iQoo Neo 10 specs leaked in India

If you search for the iQoo Neo 10 online, you will notice that this phone was launched in China late last year. However, compared to the version that’s been revealed for the Malaysian market, that phone sports a different design, featuring a vertically aligned rear camera island, rather than the square camera island we will be getting. That said, it seems like the iQoo Neo 10 sold in China as well as international markets will be two different models.

Aside from Malaysia, the international version of the iQoo Neo 10 has also been teased for India, with its launch scheduled to happen on the 26th of May. Over there, confirmed specs include LPDDR5x RAM, UFS 4.1 storage, as well as Vivo’s Q1 camera processor.

Beyond official details, the iQoo Neo 10 has also been leaked to offer a 1.5K AMOLED display with a refresh rate of up to 144Hz and a 5,500 nits peak brightness.
