Honor has officially announced the Honor MagicBook Pro 14 in Malaysia, its most powerful and feature-packed laptop to date. This 14-inch flagship laptop boasts top-tier performance featuring Intel’s 2nd generation Core Ultra 5 processor and what claims to be the largest battery ever to be fitted in a 14-inch lightweight laptop, for an all-day power.

The Honor MagicBook Pro 14 is officially priced at RM4,999 in Malaysia. It comes in a single variant featuring an Intel Core Ultra 5 225H, 32GB of LPDDR5x RAM and 1TB PCIe 4.0 SSD.

First sales for the MagicBook Pro 14 in Malaysia is set to begin on 13th June 2025, and Honor Malaysia is offering freebies worth RM508. This includes including a 1-year Microsoft 365 Personal subscription (pre-installed) and a Honor Backpack.

The Honor MagicBook Pro 14 is only available in White, finished with a pearl electrophoresis coating for a more premium and scratch-resistant texture.

Honor MagicBook Pro 14 Specs and Features

The Honor MagicBook Pro 14 features a 14.6-inch OLED touchscreen display that pushes a 3.1K resolution of 3120×2080. The panel supports 100% DCI-P3 colour gamut, 120Hz refresh rate, 1,000,000:1 contrast ratio, and 700 nits peak brightness, with 4320Hz PWM Dimming along with TÜV Rheinland certifications for Low Blue Light and Flicker-Free viewing.

Under the hood, it runs on the Intel Core Ultra 5 225H processor, offering 14 cores and 14 threads, with a P-core max turbo frequency of 4.5GHz. It also features Intel’s new AI Boost NPU for dedicated AI workloads. Graphics are handled by an integrated Intel Arc 130T GPU.

The key standout feature is its large 92Wh lithium-polymer battery. This is the largest battery Honor has ever put in a 14-inch lightweight laptop and it claims to deliver up to 12 hours of typical usage. It boasts up to 6.2 hours of online video streaming and 5.2 hours of online meetings.

To charge up quickly, the laptop supports 100W Honor SuperCharge via USB-C. Honor says it can charge up to 47% in 30 minutes and a full charge can be done in around 68 minutes.

To keep things cool, the MagicBook Pro 14 features a dual-fan system with triangle wing fins, 12mm 3D composite heat pipes, and enhanced airflow that delivers up to 25% better thermal efficiency and a 23% improved airflow. Users can switch between Smart Mode (50W) for normal use and High-powered Mode (65W) for demanding workloads.

Honor has also brought over its Turbo X AI-powered optimisation feature adapted from its smartphone line, to optimise performance and battery life. According to Honor, its performance and power optimisation engine enables smooth and responsive computing experience while intelligently extending battery life. According to Honor, they have closely collaboration with Intel and Microsoft to maximise its hardware and software synergy, for improved performance.

Connectivity-wise, the MagicBook Pro 14 includes two USB-C ports (supporting charging and DisplayPort), two USB-A 3.2 Gen 1 ports, an HDMI 2.1 port, and a 3.5mm combo audio jack. The laptop also supports Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax, 160MHz) and Bluetooth 5.1. It also features a 1080p webcam, dual speakers and three microphone array, and a fingerprint scanner integrated into the power button.

The Honor MagicBook Pro 14 is quite slender at 16.9mm while weighing approximately 1.37kg. Out of the box, it runs on Microsoft Windows 11 Home.
