Bowers & Wilkins has officially announced the arrival of its latest high-end wireless headphones, the Px7 S3, in Malaysia. First introduced in 2019, this third iteration builds upon previous models to offer improved high-fidelity sound, advanced noise cancellation, and luxurious comfort.
Pricing and Availability
Priced at RM2,399 and offered in Anthracite Black, Canvas White, or Indigo Blue, they will be available for preorder starting 15 May 2025 and are expected to hit retail stores by mid-June 2025.
They will be available through various channels, including the TC Acoustic website, the Sonos Concept Store at Starhill, the Bowers & Wilkins Official Store on Lazada, and selected retailers such as Flash Gadget, PC Image, and Thunder Match.
Here’s how it justifies its RM2,399 price tag
The Px7 S3 represents a significant upgrade over its predecessor, the Px7 S2, featuring upgraded 40mm biocellulose dynamic drivers. These drivers are engineered to provide enhanced clarity, superior resolution, and an expansive soundstage, ensuring an immersive audio experience across various genres and media.
Complementing the new drivers is a dedicated headphone amplifier, which is said to bring increased energy and dynamics to the sound output. The Px7 S3 supports high-resolution wireless streaming through Qualcomm’s aptX Adaptive and aptX Lossless codecs, allowing for detailed and balanced audio reproduction. An upcoming over-the-air update will introduce spatial audio capabilities.
The Px7 S3 integrates with the Bowers & Wilkins Music App, offering customizable sound adjustments, including a five-band equaliser and a True Sound mode that aligns with the brand’s signature audio profile.
Equipped with eight strategically placed microphones, the Px7 S3 is said to offer robust active noise cancellation (ANC) capabilities and enhance call quality, working in tandem with the latest ADI Pure Voice technology to ensure clear and intelligible voice transmission during calls.
You can enjoy up to 30 hours of playback with ANC activated, and a quick 15-minute charge yields approximately seven additional hours of listening time.
The Px7 S3 boasts a refined design with a slimmer profile and a redesigned headband with memory foam ear cushions, contributing to improved comfort during prolonged use. Notably, the ear cushions and headband are replaceable, extending the product’s lifespan.
