With the Hajj season approaching, Unifi Mobile is offering Unifi 5G Roam packages for those heading to Saudi Arabia. In addition, TM via Sahabat Korporate TH 2025 programme, is offering free prepaid SIMs to 32,500 pilgrims as well as Tabung Haji staff and volunteers for the 2025 Hajj season.
Through the programme, those performing Hajj in 2025 are eligible to receive a Unifi Mobile Prepaid SIM Card as part of its Middle East Pass offering. These SIM packs can be obtained at various Hajj courses and engagement events organised by Tabung Haji.
At the moment, Unifi Mobile is offering 5 passes for the Middle East ranging from single-day pass to 45-days pass. Here’s the list of roaming pass options for Saudi Arabia:
- Uni5G Roam Middle East 1 Day Pass – RM15
- Uni5G Roam Middle East 7 Days Pass – RM45
- Uni5G Roam Middle East 15 Days Pass – RM75
- Uni5G Roam Middle East 30 Days – RM85
- Uni5G Roam Middle East 45 Days – RM125
Among the options available, the 45-day pass offers the best value as it is equivalent to less than RM3 per day for 2GB of high-speed data.
With these passes, you can get “unlimited” 4G and 5G data, but do note that the high-speed data is limited to 2GB per day. Once you’ve hit your daily high-speed quota, your internet speed will be reduced to 512kbps. The daily 2GB high-speed quota refreshes every 24 hours from the time you activate the passes.
Do note that the passes are applicable only in Saudi Arabia and Oman via its preferred network partner – Zain. The promo for single-day and 45-day passes are valid from 22nd April to 15th July 2025.
The above Uni5G Roam passes only cover data usage, while voice calls are charged based on pay-per-use rates. According to the FAQ, both incoming calls, and outgoing calls within Saudi Arabia costs RM5.80/minute. Meanwhile calls to Malaysia costs RM9.00/minute and calls to other countries costs RM25.00/minute.
