After months of teasing, the Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge is finally official and it’s the slimmest Galaxy S flagship yet. Featuring a slim 5.8mm titanium body and weighing at just 163g, Samsung says this is more than just a slim smartphone but a remarkable feat of engineering.
It claims that the Galaxy S25 Edge is taking slim smartphones to the next level while staying true to the Galaxy S series unified design.
The best of Galaxy S25 series in a slimmer package
Upfront, it gets a 6.7″ 120Hz QuadHD+ (3120×1440) Dynamic AMOLED 2X display which is similar to the Galaxy S25+. However, the Edge gets the latest Corning Gorilla Glass Ceramic 2 for the front that’s engineered for greater resilience, while the rear panel uses Gorilla Glass Victus 2. Like any Galaxy S25 flagship, it still features IP68-rated dust and water resistance.
Similar to the rest of the Galaxy S25 series, it still features Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite for Galaxy that boasts superior on-device AI processing for Galaxy AI. It also boasts ProScaler AI image processing and Samsung’s customised Digital Natural Image Engine (mDNIe) that’s optimised for improved power consumption.

In the camera department, the Galaxy S25 Edge settles for a dual-camera setup for the rear without a dedicated telephoto shooter. This includes a 200MP f/1.7 main camera with OIS and it offers 2x optical-quality zoom, along with a 12MP f/2.2 ultra-wide-angle camera.
For selfies, the Galaxy S25 Edge comes with a 12MP f/2.2 front camera that sits in a punch-hole on top of the screen.

In terms of connectivity, it supports your usual 5G, WiFi 7, Bluetooth 5.4, UWB and NFC.
As you would expect from a slim device, the device is powered by a smaller 3,900mAh battery. It supports 25W fast wired charging via USB-C which can do 0-55% charge in around 30 minutes. The Galaxy S25 Edge also supports fast wireless charging and reverse wireless charging.

Out of the box, it runs on Android 15 with One UI 7. Similar to the rest of the Galaxy S25 series, Samsung is offering 7 generations of OS upgrades and 7-years of security updates.
