Realme GT 7 Malaysia: Specs and features
The non-Pro Realme GT 7 series shares an identical design language with its elder sibling, the GT 7 Pro. These phones feature back covers made out of graphene, which Realme calls IceSense. According to the brand, this gives the phones better heat dissipation capabilities, and they are said to have six times the thermal conductivity compared to glass covers.
In terms of durability, the Realme GT 7, GT 7 Dream Edition, and GT 7T are rated for IP69, making them dust and water resistant.

At the front of the Realme GT 7 and GT 7 Dream Edition is a 6.78″ Quad HD+ (2780×1264) LTPO AMOLED display with an adaptive refresh rate of up to 120Hz. Furthermore, not only does this panel support Dolby Vision, but it also has a peak brightness of 6,000 nits.
Powering the Realme GT 7 and GT 7 Dream Edition is MediaTek’s Dimensity 9400e chipset. The “regular” GT 7 gets 12GB of RAM and 512GB of storage, while the Dream Edition gets slightly more RAM at 16GB.
Realme says GT 7 supports 120fps gaming for titles such as Mobile Legends: Bang Bang, PUBG, Subway Surfers, Clash of Clans, Call of Duty: Mobile, Brawl Stars, League of Legends: Wild Rift, and Clash Royale.

Camera-wise, the Realme GT 7 and GT 7 Dream Edition both come with a tri-camera setup at the back. This includes a 50MP f/1.88 main camera with a 1/1.56 Sony IMX906 sensor, an 8MP f/2.2 ultra-wide-angle shooter, along with a 50MP f/2.0 telephoto shooter with 2x optical zoom. As for selfies, you get a 32MP f/2.45 front camera.
Allowing the phones to run is a 7,000mAh battery that can be replenished at 120W thanks to Realme’s Ultra Charge technology. Realme says the GT 7 can charge from flat to 50% in just 14 minutes, while going from an empty “tank” to a full charge will take as little as 40 minutes.

If you game often, you will be glad to know that the Realme GT 7 supports Realme’s Smart Bypass charging technology. This allows you to engage in extended gaming sessions while making sure your phone’s battery health is protected and heat is kept to a minimum.
When it comes to connectivity, the Realme GT 7 is fitted with WiFi 7, Bluetooth 5.4, as well as NFC. Last but not least, the Realme GT 7 series runs on Realme UI 6.0, built atop Android 15.
Realme GT 7 Dream Edition: Exclusive luxurious unboxing experience

Before we get to what the Realme GT 7T offers, let’s talk about everything that’s special about the limited edition GT 7 Dream Edition. As mentioned above, this device is a product co-developed by Realme and the Aston Martin Formula One Team.
In terms of design, the phone is coated in the Aston Martin Racing Green colourway, which Realme says features five layers of paint and hundreds of calibrations. On top of that, the Realme GT 7 Dream Edition is branded with Aston Martin’s “Silver Wing” emblem, on its back, presented through a triple-layer engraving process.

Also at the back of the special edition device are what the brand calls the “aerodynamic flow lines”. Inspired by the Formula One high-speed airflow trails, this design element is described as giving “wings” to the GT 7 Dream Edition.
Power on the Realme GT 7 Dream Edition, and you get exclusive dynamic wallpapers, special Aston Martin-inspired app icons, along with a unique startup screen, charging animation, and graphics when activating the phone’s GT Mode.

You also get exclusive Aston Martin Aramco Formula 1 Team Edition camera watermarks, making it unmistakably clear to everyone, including yourself, that you’re using the Realme GT 7 Dream Edition.
Aside from the device itself, you also get a unique and exclusive unboxing experience with the Realme GT 7 Dream Edition. Like the phone, the box features the Aston Martin Racing Green colour and the Aston Martin “Silver Emblem” logo.
Upon opening the box, you’re greeted with an elevating base, presenting you with goodies like an F1 racecar SIM card ejection tool inspired by Aston Martin F1 racecars, along with an exclusive “Silver Emblem” phone case.

Realme GT 7T Malaysia: Specs and features

Now, onto the Realme GT 7T, what’s different between it and the GT 7? Firstly, you get a 6.78″ 1.5K (2800×1280) LTPS AMOLED panel that has a refresh rate of up to 120Hz. Although you do get HDR 10+ support, you lose out on the LTPO technology for adaptive refresh rates and Dolby Vision.
Instead of the Dimensity 9400e, the GT 7T is powered by MediaTek’s Dimensity 8400 Max chipset. Camera-wise, you also lose out on the telephoto camera. Lastly, you get WiFi 6 instead of the GT 7’s WiFi 7 capability.
