Chopra Jonas talked about winning the Miss World beauty pageant in 2000 and becoming a Bollywood star for the next decade before moving to Los Angeles in 2015. Chopra Jonas said that she faced differences with her male counterparts in India and the situation has changed in the current broadcasting era because top actresses can win titles with men.

“So every job I get, I have to build my filmography in English when I play small roles in films, there are many people who know me from my film days, Indians, asking why I did this after Hollywood. minor roles and B-movies, you say,” added Chopra as Jonas ended his jump from Bollywood to Hollywood.
