The high school spring season is underway for Fall River area teams.

Here are the high school highlights from Monday's class:

Baseball: Somerset Berkeley 3, Fairhaven 2

Location: Somerset Berkeley

Date: April 17

Record: Somerset Berkeley, 6-1 (4-0 in the South Coast Conference)

Highlights: The Raiders won again on Patriot Day, defeating league rival Fairhaven at home to remain undefeated. Jonathan Lynch pitched a complete game for SBR, allowing no runs, three hits, three walks, and three strikeouts. He also made the first 15 pitches on offense. Hayden Tisdale and Brady Cabral each took the win by one lap.

Up next: The Raiders host Old Rochester on Friday.

Baseball: Greater New Bedford 12, Fall 11

Location: New Bedford Raya

Date: April 17

Record: Fall, 1-6 (1-4 in South Coast Conference)

Highlights: The Cardinals pulled off a heartbreaker on the road against league rival Greater New Bedford. Jacob Poitras went 3 for 5 with two hits, two runs scored and one RBI. Ben Duquette went 2 for 3 with two runs scored and four RBIs. Sam Dady had a pair of hits, four runs, one RBI and all five plate appearances. Dylan Amaral went 2 for 4 with a run and an RBI. The Cardinals led 7-0 early and trailed 11-5 in the seventh. GNBVT won by seven runs in the home half.

Next up: Fall hosts Fairhaven on Friday.

Softball: Case 11, Great New Bedford 4

Location: Swansea

Date: April 17

Record: Fall, 5-0 (4-0 in South Coast Conference)

Highlights: The Cardinals won their fifth straight game on Patriots Day, defeating league rival Greater New Bedford at home. Hailey Berube did her best for Case through the cold and rain. He started the game that ended in a 6-3-5 double play. Bree Fontes. It was his second straight two-homer game. Lexi Yost, Megan Smith and Jamie Moniz had multiple hits that day. Olivia Silva had one hit in a critical situation, two intentional runs and two interceptions from behind the plate at third base on defense. Berube and Lily Picard also have winning streaks. The Cardinals had 13 hits on the day.

Next up: host Dighton-Rehoboth on Wednesday.

Softball: Somerset Berkeley 21, Fairhaven 7

Location: Fair Haven

Date: April 17

Record: Somerset Berkeley, 3-2 (1-2 in the South Coast Conference)

Highlights: Rider's bat explodes on the road in Fairhaven's road win. Jordan Theriault led SBR 3-for-4 with a double, a walk and three RBIs. Callie Leger had three hits and three RBIs. Victoria DeMatteo had three hits with a double and an RBI. Lillian Brisson went 3 for 5 with an RBI. Gabriella Nugent had a pair of hits and three RBIs. Mackenzie Jacobs, Tatum Swanson, Sydney Bednarz, Julia Costa, Brooke Crombie and Emma Javier each scored a goal in the win. DeMatteo, Nugent and Swanson shared the pitching duties and struck out five while striking out 10 for three.

Next: Raiders host St. Maria Thursday.

Outdoor Track: Somerset Berkeley at SCC Relays

Location: Lakeville

Date: April 15

Highlights: The Raiders outdoor track and field team performed well at Saturday's SCC Relays with 10 teams placing in the top 3 of their events. Two second places for the boys were the 4×800 relay team of Tyler Scanlon, Dylan Brilliant, Ryan Kulibaba and Logan Pacheco and the 4×200 relay team of Tyler Scanlon, Jack Hansen, Nick Scanlon and Camden Rose. Mia Gentile, Ella Vaught, Ashlyn Durand and Ashley Donovan took first place in the 4×400 relay. The 4×200 and 4×800 also ranked third.

Record: Somerset Berkeley Boys, 1-1; Somerset Berkeley Girls, 1-1

Highlights: Last week, the Raiders' outfield team was blown out by league rival Old Rochester in their first home loss of the season. Hutch Mosley was a double winner for SBR in the shot put and discus. Camden Rose won the 400m. Davis Sullivan achieved two second places in the 100 and 200 meters. Mia Gentile (long jump, 400 hurdles) and Audrey Sperling (shot put and javelin) were multiple winners in the women's events. Other Raiders winners included Bethany Moniz (discus), Peyton Oliveira (triple jump), Carly Cosme (high jump) and Emily Fernandez (800). The 4×400 relay team of Reese Swanson, Ella Vaught, Ashley O'Donovan and Oliveira took first place.
