Elusive Spirit: African Masquerade: Ongoing exhibition, James G. and Caroline Julier Richardson Gallery, Harn Art Museum, SW 34th Street and Hull Road. From the middle of the 21st century to the beginning of the 20th century, masks showed the continuation of masks, but new directions also appeared in masks. While most of the exhibits focus on the spiritual and religious underpinnings of the masks, it also explores the aesthetics of the masks through engaging costumes, music and dance.

Main St. (cademuseum.org) A permanent exhibition exploring the history of the invention of the toilet and how it made modern cities possible. It questions the science of soap and introduces visitors to NASA's Zero-G toilet, which helps astronauts bravely go where humans have never been before.

She/Her/Her: Women in the Art of China: Viewed until March 24, 2024, David A. Cofrin Asian Wing. (harn.ufl.edu/exhibitions/current) This exhibition examines the intersecting roles of women as subjects, artists, and consumers of art in traditional, modern, and contemporary China. It displays a variety of works: paintings, calligraphy, textiles, ceramics, bronzes, photographs, as well as lacquerware and silverware, some of which are unpublished. With four main themes – Representation of Femininity, Beauty Anonymous, Female Artists and Beyond the Boudoir – the exhibition not only spans the full spectrum, but also offers a more detailed look at women's dynamics and contributions.
